Elizabeth (Liz) Altman
Elizabeth (Liz) Altman is a psychological associate, being trained and supervised by Dr. Radhule Weininger. Liz completed coursework in Clinical Psychology at The Pacifica Graduate Institute incorporating a variety of approaches to support clients on a journey through self-discovery. Liz supports clients to utilize their own unique characteristics to grow, heal, and develop their individual potential. With infant parent mental health and early childhood development, Liz’s background includes supporting early attachment relationships. Liz incorporates mindfulness and meditation into her personal and professional practice. After studying various yogic and meditation philosophies in India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal – Liz applies these approaches to her work both as a therapist and meditation/mindfulness teacher. She is an activist and an advocate for an interconnected, more integrated world. Liz is inspired daily by the kindness and compassion cultivated through community-based work, and passionate about engaging with individuals and groups to create collective and systemic healing. In her free time, Liz enjoys paragliding, backpacking, and spending time with her two dogs.
