Anahita Navab Holden, Ph.D.
Anahita finds herself at home in the rich integration of mindfulness-based practices, yoga, somatic practices, and sound meditation. She is a clinical psychologist and has a private psychotherapy practice in downtown Santa Barbara. She specializes in working with parents and children, as well as adults who are neurodiverse and/or struggle with PTSD. Anahita is trained in the facilitation of Buddhist meditation by Drs. Radhule Weininger and Michael Kearney through the Mindful Heart Programs of Santa Barbara. She is a certified yoga instructor trained by Tracy and Gangha White of the White Lotus Foundation, and is a trained Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher and Somatic Experiencing and Attachment-Focused EMDR Practitioner. Her passion is to incorporate Buddhist psychology, somatic approaches, and self-compassion practices to assist individuals in their psycho-spiritual journeys. She loves supporting parents and caregivers through meditation and somatic practice, and collaborates with her husband Daniel Holden in his company Riviera Educational Services, which provides holistic educational support for families, children, and adults.
